Synopsis[]
King Thistle is playing golf with Ben and Holly. Ben says it’s a bit boring. Holly said it would be more fun if they had little hills to hit the ball up and down. King Thistle says knocking your ball up hills and around corners is called crazy golf. Holly asks if they can play crazy golf. King Thistle says they are playing normal golf. Just them some hills come. King Thistle tries to find out who made all the hills. He asks the wise old elf who made the hills. A mole made the holes. King Thistle asks who knows how you can get rid of moles. Holly says Nanny Plum because she speaks all animal languages. King Thistle shouts for Nanny Plum and tells her to tell the mole to leave his golf course. Nanny Plum says she can’t speak mole. King Thistle says can’t she use magic to get rid of the mole. She says there is 1 magical method to get rid of moles but unfortunately it uses a gnome. Nanny Plum tells King Thistle what a gnome is. King Thistle says he doesn’t care what Nanny Plum uses. Nanny Plum says she’s called the gnome here to get rid of a mole. He gets rid of the mole. The Gnome says he’s not finished yet. He says if he goes now the mole will come back. King Thistle says he must stay as long as it takes. The Gnome’s tummy is very empty. King Thistle tells Nanny Plum to get the Gnome some food. The Gnome says he will need some workers. King Thistle says tells the gnome to just to let him know when he’s finished so he can play his golf. The first job is to flatten the mole hills. He needs a deck chair and a fishing rod. The Gnome says he will pretend to fish so the mole goes away. Ben and Holly tell Nanny Plum that Mr Gnome needs a deck chair and a fishing rod so he can pretend to fish. The Gnome will also be needing a windmill. The Wise Old Elf says that a windmill is a very difficult thing to build. Mr Gnome says that it mustn’t actually work. Just pretend but with sails that go round and round. The Gnome eats his Sandwiches and tea and falls asleep. The Wise Old Elf says they’re building a pretend windmill for The Gnome. Holly says ,A pretend windmill? Holly says it looks fun. They ask if they can help. The Wise Old Elf says yes. Mr Gnome asks if Ben and Holly can get him a bucket of custard a big jar of pickles and some plastic flowers. The Gnome says they go with the windmill. The Gnome says that he will need a little bridge, a plastic well and a little picket fence. Nanny Plum tells Ben and Holly gnomes make everyone else work while they just eat and sleep. Holly tells King Thistle that this is food for Mr Gnome. Nanny Plum says there’s no food left. The Gnome has eaten it all. Ben says that the plastic flowers go with the windmill. Holly spots the pretty bridge. King Thistle says he can certainly see Mr gnome has been working hard. King Thistle asks when will it be safe for him to leave. The Gnome says he might have to stay here for ever. He says won’t get in King Thistle’s way. King Thistle says but he is in his way. King Thistle says he can’t play golf with all that stuff around. Holly suggests they can play crazy golf. She asks daddy if he wants her and Ben to show her how to play crazy golf. King Thistle asks what does he do. Ben and Holly say you just hit the ball in the little windmill and into the hole. King Thistle says it’s fun.
